- Born in Northeim (Harz, Germany) and raised in Solingen.
- For ten years he has lived and worked in Deggendorf/Niederbayern.
- Involved in Photography since 1993, exclusively in black and white since 1995.
- The exposure of the negatives and the production of the silver gelatine or palladium prints are all done by hand without any digital working methods.
- Different exhibitions in bavaria since 1996.
- Member of "Berufsverband bildender Künstler e.V." since 1999.
